Haitian Recipes - Ti Malice (hot sauce)
2 tsps hot pepper
1 large chopped onion
½ cup chopped shallots or scallions
3 minced cloves of garlic
½ cup lemon or lime juice
¼ cup oil
salt and pepper to taste
1. Marinate onions with the lemon juice for 2hrs
2. Combine all ingredients and boil in a pot for 10 minutes until hot peppers are tender.
3. Allow to cool and store in a glass jar or bowl in the refrigerator.
